Early signs and symptoms of MS

Can someone please elaborate what are some of the early signs and symptoms of the disease? How do I approach the subject with my physician?

Newly diagnosed - advice please!

I was dx (RRMS) over the phone on July 24th, a year after the symptoms which led to initial referral by GP to Neurology. Consultant said he was 'anxious to start treatment'. I was given two weeks to decide between Aubagio and Tecfidera. Told if I chose not to have treatment I'd be discharged back in...

New lesion

Just received result of annual MRI of brain and CSP. Quick recap is diagnosed w MS 1998. No DMT or identifiable symptoms until 2017, been on copaxone for 3 years. Most recent MRI says new lesion r fr lobe, and a Highlighting peri ventricular lesion which is also new. I’m feeling a bit alarmed! I ...

Advice/slight rant!

Hi all, hope everyone is doing ok Slightly confusing situation here: i got diagnosed with RRMS in 2018. Can't turn over in bed

Since getting numb lower legs I found if I lay on my back in bed keeping legs straight..its impossible now to lift legs up off bed..i try one then the other..no solid weights won't move! Now this last week I can't roll over off my back..i have to draw knees up and flop knees over if I want to get on...

Keeping positive

Hi was just diagnosed with MS, but going back on the last few years it has affected much longer than just finding out now. My brother has lived with MS for over 40 years. So MS is nothing new to me except learning to live with it myself now, one day at a time. Thanks and take care folks

Gabapentin

Just started on Gabapentin. Only on one a night at the mo. But it’s making me feel really sleepy. Almost drunk in a bad way. Is this normal ? I’m due to increase my dose but I can’t see me being able to work if I do. Any help please Thanks gang

Eye symptoms

So basically I know it’s going to be a bad day when I wake up with what I call heavy eyes. Has anyone had this symptom with MS? My eyelids feel weighted and so I have to struggle to keep them open. This will last all day. I do some eye movement exercises like moving my eyeballs in all directions,...
